About Me
I'm a Psychology PhD student at Princeton University, working in the Logic of Emotion Lab. I'm currently in my third year.
My research sits at the intersection of language, emotion, and mental health. In short, I focus on:
Linguistic markers of emotion regulation and mental health. How does our language reflect and shape emotional processes and wellbeing? How can we use this knowledge to develop interventions to improve psychological wellbeing?
Emotion differentiation. How does our ability to identify and label our distinct emotions relate to emotion regulation and mental health? What interventions can we use to improve this ability, and does this improve wellbeing?
I use a combination of in-person and remote behavioral experiments, surveys, and daily diary studies to study these topics.
